What a coach can and can’t do
A coach is focused on their own work — plan review, athletes, availability. Managing the schedule, the money side, and inviting staff sit above the coach role.
By design, a coach is focused on their own work: their availability and calendar, plan review, and their athletes. A coach’s navigation leads with Plan review and Athletes; Roster, Availability, Check-in, Customers, and Appointments sit in More. What a coach does not get:
- Managing the studio schedule, class types, services, or classrooms — that’s Manager and above.
- The money side — payments, billing, and Stripe setup are owner-only; coaches don’t see Financials.
- The Team page and inviting staff — only owner and admin can invite, which is why you don’t see the invite button.
- Making yourself public — owner/admin only.
The app hides what your role can’t touch, and even if you reach a screen directly, the database is the real gate — a coach’s call to an owner-only action is refused server-side. If you need more access, ask your owner or admin to change your role. See Staff roles & what each can do.
