Take your studio live (go-live checklist)
The one findable list of everything that has to be true before members can book and pay — and how to clear the exact blocker you’re stuck on.
“Live” means a member can find your studio, book, and — if you sell online — pay. KADRE gates this so you never open half-ready. Here’s the whole checklist in one place, in the order it usually clears.
What has to be true
- Payments & payouts enabled — your Stripe account has passed identity and bank verification. This is the step most likely to be “still verifying.”
- Tax registered or exempt — for every region you sell into. You file your own tax; KADRE just records what you tell it.
- At least one published, priced plan — something for members to buy (see Set up your plans & pricing).
- Something bookable on the calendar — scheduled class sessions, or (for appointments) a service with provider availability set.
Reading the readiness checklist
Your go-live checklist shows each row as done or blocked and names the exact blocker — it won’t just say “not ready.” Clear the named row and the status updates. If a row points at Stripe, the fix is on Stripe’s side (identity, bank, or a tax region left unregistered), not in KADRE.
- Open the go-live checklist from your dashboard or the Connect wizard.
- Find the first row marked blocked — it tells you precisely what’s missing.
- Clear it (finish Stripe, add a tax region, publish a plan, or schedule a session).
- Come back; the row flips to done. When every row is done, you’re live.
You can run your studio before selling online — take bookings and collect at the desk while Stripe finishes verifying. Online checkout switches on the moment the payment rows clear.
