Reading the operator’s results (what “worked” really means)

The Ledger tells you what happened without inflating it. It shows a plain count of bookings that came in after recent nudges — but it will not claim the nudge caused them. Correlation isn’t credit, and it won’t pretend otherwise.

The one causal number: lift

The only figure the operator ever states as “caused by the nudge” is lift — the difference between members who were nudged and a held-back control group who weren’t. Lift only appears once its measurement window closes; until then the Ledger honestly says it’s still measuring, or shows nothing at all.

Money is shown only where a real price existed — never a fake “$0.” If a number looks modest, that’s the honest read, not an error.
