Issue a gift card
From a customer profile, enter an amount, take cash, and hand over the redeemable code. Cash is the only working method; card paths are “coming soon.”
From the customer profile’s staff-action bar, tap Issue a gift card. Enter an amount, take cash, and confirm. You get a redeemable code shown big on screen with a one-tap Copy — read it out or hand it to the recipient. Paid in cash, the balance is ready to spend immediately.
Like the sell flow, only cash works today. In-person card (Terminal) and Send a payment link are shown disabled and “coming soon” — a card gift card would mint a code that never activates, so both are blocked on purpose.
