Cancel a class — fees and credit
Cancel early and it’s free (and your pack credit comes back). Cancel inside the late window and you pay a fee — and the credit is forfeited. The dialog shows your studio’s real numbers first.
On the schedule, open your booked class and choose Cancel. Before anything happens, a dialog shows the exact outcome. There are two cases, decided by your studio’s late-cancel window (default 12 hours before class start).
- Outside the window (early cancel) → free. No charge, and if you booked with a pack credit, that credit is returned to you.
- Inside the window (late cancel) → a fee, and the credit is forfeited. The dialog shows the exact fee (default $15 CAD) and you must accept it to proceed. A late cancel does not return your pack credit.
How the fee is settled
The dialog tells you the truth for your studio: “charged to your card on file” if you have a saved card, or “added to your account — your studio will collect or waive it” if you don’t. There’s no automatic later sweep; the studio settles it at the desk.
The exact window length and fee amount are set by your studio, so they may differ from the $15 / 12-hour defaults. The dialog always shows your studio’s real numbers before you confirm.
